EWMS Teen Korps is filled with gratitude for our very enthusiastic, engaged members and their families.  In addition, we’d like to recognize the following people for all they’ve done –

Thank you to Ms. Pat Tirona, EWMS Solana Beach librarian for her generous support.  We really appreciate all her help with EWMS Teen Korps projects and meetings!

Thank you to the many EWMS Teen Korps parents and grandparents who have so graciously baked delicious goodies for our Teen Korps chapter meetings, providing homemade treats for our members.  They are greatly appreciated and enjoyed by all!

Thank you to Trevor Gallo’s dad, Ramon Gallo, who put together a wonderful slideshow, complete with great music, of photos taken at chapter service events during the 2011-2012 year!  (we’re trying to find a way to post a link to it).

Thank you to EWMS Principal, Mrs. Nuskin, who provides support and encouragement for Teen Korps members and allows us to use space on campus for our Teen Korps collection drives and bins!

Thank you to Ms. Hutchinson, who so nicely adds all of our Teen Korps information and notices to the Seahawk Daily!

Thank you to the Kids Korps team for all their support and guidance!

And here’s a thank you note that our EWMS Teen Korps members received from the organizer of the EWMS/Solana Beach library book sale –

Many thanks to all the hard working volunteers from EWMS Teen Korps who helped us with our recent used book sale.  You were fantastic.  With your help we managed to set up the biggest sale ever!  You all were great workers during the sale rearranging books, alphabetizing our fiction, and assisting customers.  Thanks too for helping us clean up and load up the left over books on Monday.  We really appreciated your smiling faces and willingness to help us with the work.

Together we made over $500 for the Friends of the Solana Beach Library .  As you know, our fund raising benefits the library in many ways. We hope that you enjoyed your opportunity to volunteer in the library .  There are always ways to help in the library and give back to our community!

Thanks again,
Cindi Clemons, Friends of the Solana Beach Library
