We greatly appreciate the hard work and hours that MANY of you have given this year to important service projects, and we would like to recognize each and every one of you as someone who cares about your community and giving back!
We like to think that our biggest reward for doing Teen Korps projects is the great satisfaction we receive from giving to others, but we also want to take time to recognize some members for their exceptional commitment to service. So those who will be recognized for the Seahawk award are those in the top 25% of our EWMS Teen Korps chapter in terms of service hours earned.
Remember, you will continue to be eligible for the Kids Korps award and/or the Presidential service award, both of which are given out in September, the end of the Kids Korps membership year, so keep earning and entering your service hours throughout the summer!
If you have any questions, please visit our website “Hours Log-In” page for full instructions. If you need to jog your memory about details for each project, such as hours spent and agency name, you can visit the “Past Project Details” page. Please remember that each chapter meeting earns 1/2 hour of service credit, and past meeting dates are listed on our website calendar.
SAVE THE DATE! We’re looking forward to celebrating another successful year with EWMS Teen Korps at our year-end meeting and pizza party on Tuesday, June 4th at lunchtime in Warren Hall. Please note the change of date – in June, we’ll be meeting on the first Tuesday instead of the first Thursday, which will be our last chapter meeting of the year.
