Embrace the Streets donations needed by Nov. 1st!

EWMS Teen Korps member Tommy Merritt is leading a solo project/donation drive, collecting blankets, jackets, gently used clothing for men, women and children, new socks, and toiletries to distribute to the homeless through a project called Embrace the Streets.  Please bring donations to school on Thursday, November 1st, when Mrs. Merritt will be waiting outside the library before school starts to pick up your donations, or you can bring them to our EWMS Teen Korps chapter meeting that day in Warren Hall at lunchtime.  Please note blankets are a high priority and they could use more MEN’s clothing, as well as rain gear, small toys for children, and toiletries.

Click here for more details.  If your donations are too bulky to transport to school, please contact us for pick-up before November 1st.

Tommy will be participating in the distribution event for donated items on November 17th.  If any other EWMS Teen Korps members would like to join him, please let us know!

Thanks for your support.
